All that glitters..

...Is gold!

I love this time of year, the build up to Christmas is just so exciting! But unfortunately I've got exams and lots of study to do. One of the only things keeping me going is thinking of all the glitz and glamour to come over the Christmas hols... so excited! My guilty fashion  pleasure is gold.. and lucky for me this time of year allows for extra glitz, extra bling and extra glamour...

Here are my favourite goldy picks from the high street right now..

All from Topshop :)

These statement heels are Carvela, pricey but so worth it as you could wear this any time of the year and with pretty much any outfit, as long as you keep it simple on top!

These three blingalicious dresses are from ASOS, Love how eye catching they are and make any skin tone glow. Perfect for the party season.
These pumps by Michael Kors are perfect if you're trying to keep it casual but still add some serious glam for us bling lovers!

And now for the finishing touches...

These accesories add some glitz to any outfit if your not a fan of full on goldy bling.. love the earings and bow  from River Island.

Hope all you bling lovers enjoy reading this.. It's nice to add some sparkle to a dull day... :)

Boy meets girl...

So I'm a girly girl at heart and a lover of flowers, frills and lace but there is just something so cool about the 'boyfriend look'. It's super cool to see girls looking like they're rocking their boyfriends wardrobes! I just adore this tailored trend with fitted blazers and baggy shirts. Some looks are full on manly which can be hard to pull off, others are just boy-inspired.

These three looks are from Boohoo.com... Love them! They are manly and macho but HOT!

The following looks are from ASOS and are also full on boyish but still really flattering, dont you think?

These next looks are more boy inspired than full on macho...

These two looks from topshop have the boyish vibe due to the peter pan collar and tuxedo-pegleg jumpsuit.

Brogues perfectly finish off the boyfriend look, these are from schuh.

These looks from Asos are feminine yet boyish, with the perfect balance. I looove the red jumpsuit. The 'boy meets girl' look is right on trend and is so appropriate for winter and the awful weather right now :)

So ladies.. SUIT UP ! ;)

Style Crush! Girl Crush!

I am in looove with model, Lily Donaldson's style. She is constantly on covers of my favourite maqazines or strutting her stuff in haute couture on runways all over the world.

She always looks amazing whether it's on covers or just chillin'. I love how she can look so elegant and classy dressed up for events, yet she appears as if she just threw on this dress with no effort or care at all... how cool is she!!

Lily also looks great dressed down in casuals just chilling out. Her style is just so cool and effortless. She always appears natural and comfortable.

This is one girl who masters the effortless, doesn't really care, look. She never seems to try too hard and always appears relaxed and super cool.

It's so refreshing to see a girl not done up within an inch of her life, she looks fresh faced, comfortable with herself and fabulous. This girl is sure of herself, rocks her look and knows how to have fun!

LOVE HER!!

What do you guys think?

RAAARRHH!

So a belated happy halloween folks.. hope y'all had fun. This year, like all years really, I didn't waste money on a costume, they're so over priced and un-original I think. Instead i cut up a pair of leopard print pajama bottoms and attached a long piece to a one shouldered Bershka dress iv had in my wardrobe for a while now, then i cut strips of material and wrapped them around my thigh, arm, head etc and voila... Cave Woman Me :)

This year my outfit some how happened to be bang on trend as leopard print seems to be seen a lot at the mo...

Loooove this leopard print cardi and dress both from Forever 21
These shoes from river island are so fun,

And these jeans also from RI definitely are eye catching..
Unfortunately for us these leopard print pieces aren't free like my costume, but they sure do brighten up a cold November day.. What do you guys think of this trend? Tacky or Terrific?? :)
