Darling buds

So we'll soon be stepping into spring, probably not in the weather sense, but most definitely in the fashion sense. When has the weather ever stopped us from wearing the latest trend, or anything we want to wear for that matter. I love the floral trend this spring, it's so fresh and such a nice change from the woolly winter style of chunky knitwear. I love girly fashion, as i'm a real girly girl at heart. This trend has been seen on the catwalks of the most influential designers, so no doubt it will be so apparent on the high street..

Rodarte, loving the sunflower print, very unique.

Balmain, love the floral print jacket and shift dress in pics 2 and 4.

Louis Vuitton, the most breath taking dresses in my opinion, and Kate Moss prove she's still all that ;)

Some more of my fave SS12 trends...

Mary Katrantzou

Chloe

Aminaka Wilmont

What do you think of the trend?

Lana Del Rey inspired dresses...

I have a new found love for Lana Del Rey, the New York singer, who's actual name is Elizabeth Grant has amazing songs like video games and born to die, but also has an amazing sense of style. She was photographed for V magazine in a chic Prada bodysuit...

I love how this fitted bodysuit is designed to highlight and exaggerate curves, i've spotted a few look-alike dresses on the high street.

The design of  this ASOS dress, like the Prada bodysuit, exaggerates curves.

This dress also from ASOS has the addition of mesh straps, which kinda toughen up this colourful body con.

This dress from Miss Selfridge also incorporates  the mesh detail and is available in a rage of colours, I love this pink panelled one, it's so bright and colourful.

I think this body-con, curve inducing design will be really big. It's nice to see designers are promoting curves for a change, hopefully this will catch on, what do you think?

Whitney Port

I looove Whitney Port and particularly her sense of  style. She can look totally glam one minute then laid-back and casual the next,  always looking gorgeous of course!

It's no surprise so that i am a huge fan of Whitney's line: Whitney Eve. Her line is feminine yet funky, she was inspired by styles in LA and New York so incorporated both into Whitney Eve. What i love most about her clothing line is that it is so wearable and affordable for a designer label, it's also so original. Here are some of my favourite pieces on sale right now:

If i could, id want my whole wardrobe full of Whitney Eve clothes alone!

Im not the only one loving Whitney's line,.. Here are some celebs caught wearing Whitney Eve:

Paris Hilton with her sister Nicky.

Kylie Jenner

Heidi Klum, on Project Runway.

Kourtney Kardashian and baby Mason.

Party Dresses...

I think every girl should have statement party dress ( or twenty!) in the back of her wardrobe. Spending a little extra on the perfect party dress is so worth it. When you've made last minute plans or can't make it to the shops you can always rely on your favourite go-to-dress. I've picked my favourite designer yet affordable dresses, all from theoutnet.com

This Rebecca Taylor strapless silk dress is €260, which is pricey, but this dress will last so long and can be worn all year 'round.

I looove this feathered bustier dress from Rare Opulence, it def has the wow factor, and not too pricey at €100.

This printed jersey dress will suit most figures and is really eye catching, by Erik Hart, €125

This Alice + Olivia dress is simple yet glamorous, I love the buckles on the back, it toughens up this girly dress. (€210)

This  more colourful choice would be perfect for any summer event but worn with a black blazer and shoe boots for winter.. This sequined mini dress is Diane Von Furstenburg and is €230.

And since we're talking about statement party dresses, I of course had to include Hervé Léger, the man who created the bandaged style dress, which mould and shape the wearers figure. The strip like dresses are worn by every celebrity from Kim Kardashian to Blake Lively

This particular Hervé is €650, biiig money, I know but these dresses are usually more like €6000, so this really is a bargain, and you'll feel like a celeb everytime you wear it :)

I know these designer dresses are all pricey but think of how often you'd wear these, plus they're all over half price at theoutnet.com...

Which ones you're fave? :)
